South Seas Gallery
The main entrance to the South Seas Gallery was the ticket booth for the 1925 South Seas World Expo held at Logan Park in Dunedin.
Well over 3 million visitors went through the expo in the course of the year.
The ticket office was used to sell tickets to the show.
It also sold the latest in sheet music, rather like a CD store of the day.
In 1926 the ticket office was placed on a lorry and transported
to Brighton and became part of a holiday bach, which was then developed into the South Seas Gallery.
